Chairman and Co-Founding Director
James has nearly 30 years of experience in waste management, during which the industry has transformed significantly. He has continuously been at the forefront of innovation and extremely proud to have introduced ‘industry firsts’ to the market, including services such as zero waste to landfill, paper cup recycling and dynamic weighing, all of which have now become industry standards. James led a waste business from start-up in 2005 to a successful exit in 2020, selling for £35 million to a FTSE 250 company. Since then, James has chaired several SMEs, using his experience to help guide them toward long-term success as well as being leaders and innovators in their fields.
Now, as a co-founder of Evolve Waste Solutions, James is excited to bring an even more innovative approach to the market that is focused on the circular economy, data-driven outcomes and utilisation of technology to maximise efficiency and sustainability. With his experience, James will steer Evolve through various phases of strategic growth, ensuring successful and sustainable outcomes for the company, its partners and most importantly its customers.

Finance Director
Natalie has 20 years of extensive knowledge and experience in the waste and recycling industry, specifically in finance. Prior to Evolve Waste Solutions, Natalie was a shareholder and Finance Director for a start-up, high growth to exit waste and recycling business, with 17 years spent at board level. Since exiting the waste and recycling industry, Natalie has co-invested in several SME businesses where she plays an active role in supporting management teams whilst ensuring financial reporting and processes are robust, reliable and scalable. Drawing on her wealth of experience, Natalie has helped grow small and medium-sized businesses, building the foundations for long-term success and sustainable growth.
Natalie is excited to bring her key skills in finance and people development to Evolve Waste Solutions – a new high energy waste business with a purpose. Natalie’s insights will be instrumental in scaling the business up strategically and with her vast experience, provide assistance and insights on managing and growing a business. Natalie is looking forward to helping build and develop a high performing team with an emphasis on compliance, profitability, accuracy and high-quality reporting.

Co-Founding Director
With 14 years of experience in the waste management industry, Adam brings a wealth of expertise to Evolve Waste Solutions. Growing up in a family waste business, Adam gained a deep understanding of the industry from an early age. His career spans both regional and national waste management businesses, giving him a broad perspective on operational challenges and solutions.
His strong background in operational finance, commercial strategy, customer experience and process efficiency is complemented by his focus on utilising technology to enhance performance. He plays a key role in driving Evolve Waste Solution’s mission to deliver innovative, efficient and tech-driven waste solutions.

Co-Founding Director
Dean has over a decade of experience in the waste sector, progressing through Senior Operational Roles to Board Director; growing a small independent operator into a multi-location regional waste management business. Following acquisition in 2020 Dean has spent the last 3 years gaining exposure within a national waste collection business responsible for multiple sites in the London Region.
As Co-Founding Director Dean is responsible for the business strategic growth, ongoing efficiency, safety & compliance all while ensuring our customer receive a service they can depend on.

To succeed in life, you need a wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone.
Head of Sales & Marketing
With over 10 years in the waste management industry, Georgia began her career in Marketing at a prominent regional waste company, before transitioning to and excelling in new business development. Georgia has a huge passion for sustainability with a focus on materials, circularity and creating value from waste. Notably, Georgia played a key role in the creation, launch and development of the Honest Bottle – the first reusable bottle designed and made locally, from recycled single-use bottles.
As Head of Sales and Marketing at Evolve, Georgia leads the business development efforts, building new client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and driving strategic initiatives. Her ‘think differently’ approach has shaped Evolve’s marketing strategy, ensuring the brand’s continued impact, success and commitment to sustainability.
What’s the best piece of advice you have received?
I live by the rule that everything in life happens for a reason, even if you are unsure of it at the time. But best advice – if you want it, go get it.
Non Executive Director
With nearly 40 years experience in the waste and recycling industry, Mark has worked extensively across all sales sectors including SME, regional and corporate. He has a proven track record in managing sales teams and delivering organic growth across small independent waste companies, brokers and national operators.
Mark’s key role will be to support the sales team and ensure the business is best placed to deliver long term growth.

Operations Manager
Bartek joins Evolve Waste Solutions as Operations Manager, bringing with him over 8 years of diverse experience within the waste industry. His career spans working within regional, national and local authority operations; giving him a well-rounded understanding of the sector from multiple perspectives. Bartek has gained valuable insights through a variety of roles, starting from the ground up and progressing through supervisory and management positions. His hands-on experience in logistics and operations has equipped him with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in delivering waste services efficiently and effectively.
In his role at Evolve, Bartek will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistic operation, ensuring legislative and health and safety compliance at all times. His focus will be on maintaining operational excellence, streamlining processes, and ensuring that our customers consistently receive exceptional service. With his experience and leadership, Bartek will play a key role in driving Evolve’s mission to deliver innovative and reliable waste management solutions.

Customer Support Executive
Sophie began her career in the waste industry in 2017, focusing on supply chain management and customer service. Her primary responsibilities have included building strong relationships with trusted suppliers, resolving issues and coordinating waste collections.
As Customer Support Executive at Evolve, Sophie handles all inbound sales enquiries, helping new customers find the best solutions and ensuring they receive excellent service. In addition to her sales duties, Sophie provides support with contract setups, reporting and service implementation.

Dominik brings three years of valuable experience in the waste industry, with a strong foundation in finance and operations. As Sales Executive, Dominik is responsible for identifying, qualifying and securing new business opportunities. This involves selling a comprehensive range of waste management solutions to businesses of all sizes and types. Dominik actively engages with potential clients to understand their specific needs and tailor customised solutions that align with their goals.

Leanne began her career in finance with a prominent regional waste company, where she quickly developed a deep understanding and keen curiosity of financial processes within the waste management industry. Over the years, she honed her skills in financial analysis, budgeting and reporting, becoming an integral part of the finance team and contributing to the company’s growth.
Now, as a Finance Executive at Evolve Waste Solutions, Leanne is responsible for managing purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments and the overall smooth running of the department as well as running the monthly payroll. Her attention to detail and strong organisational skills help maintain smooth financial operations, supporting the company’s commitment to providing first class, professional and efficient waste management services.
